Summer Camp 2008
Welcome to Kids Club Preschool Summer Camp. We are very excited to be starting another summer camp season.We have lots of fun activities planned and are looking forward to a fantastic summer!
Important Reminders for Summer Camp:
- Please be sure to bring a copy of your child's birth certificate, immunization record and physical record. Children WILL NOT be able to attend camp without this information.
- Please be sure your child is dressed in weather appropriate clothing.
- Please pack AM and PM snack with drink for your child as well as a lunch with drink.
- Please check bulletin board daily for important parent information.
- Please encourage your child to leave all toys and personal belongings at home.
We offer an exclusive 11 week fully licensed camp that is specifically designed for your three to five year old. Every other week we will introduce your child to a different theme. The weeks are jam packed with fun activities, such as:
- Story Time
- Puppet Shows
- Music & Movement
- Sensory Play
- Arts & Crafts
- Sports & Games
- Water Activities
- Theme Related Activities
Our goal for the summer is to have fun!
Camp Dates:
- Camp Begins: Monday, June 16, 2008
- Camp Ends: Thursday, August 28, 2008
- Camp CLOSED: Friday, July 4, 2008
Sessions:
- Full Day: 9:00 am - 4:00 pm
- Half Day: 9:00 am - 12:30 pm
- Extended care is available for full day campers from 7:30 am - 5:30 pm
Weeks 1 & 2- Friendship/Safety:
These weeks are about getting to know one another. The children will get to know each other as well as the staff and will become familiar with camp rules and expectations. They will take a tour of the facility and become acclimated with the center.
Weeks 3 & 4- Crazy Days of Summer:
We will have many different activities and events to showcase your camp spirit. Ex's: crazy hats, crazy hair, dress like your twin, relax in your pajamas, cheer on your favorite sports team.
Weeks 5 & 6- Ocean/Water Fun:
Your children will be introduced to different types of sea life and will learn more about our oceans. We will also have lots of "splish-splash" fun! (Sprinklers, Beach Balls, Water Tables.)
Weeks 7 & 8- Learning About the Jungle:
Children will learn about a variety of different animals and plants. They will learn about their environments, adaptation, and which foods the animals eat.
Weeks 9 & 10- Outdoor Fun:
The children will be learning about bugs, butterflies and the great outdoors. They will be participating in nature walks, bug hunts, and fun outdoor activities.
Week 11 - Fun in the Sun:
This is a week of celebration! There will be lots of fun and games as our camping season comes to a close.
